Unracked Privacy Policy
Effective July 3, 2026
The short version: Unracked has no accounts, no backend, and no analytics. Everything you set up lives on your device. We couldn't see which apps you block or where your saved locations are even if we wanted to — Apple's Screen Time framework hides that from us by design.
No accounts, no sign-in
Unracked does not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or any other contact information. There is no server of ours that your data is sent to — we don't operate one.
Your data stays on your device
Everything Unracked stores — your blocklist, schedules, saved locations, session state, and settings — is kept locally on your iPhone, in the app's private storage. It is never uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app deletes this data.
App blocking (Screen Time)
Unracked uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework to block the apps you choose. When you pick apps or categories, iOS gives Unracked opaque tokens — identifiers only your device can interpret. We cannot see which apps you selected, and neither can anyone else. The selection never leaves your device.
Location
If you set up location-triggered blocking, Unracked asks iOS to watch for when you enter or leave the places you chose. This processing happens entirely on your device through Apple's CoreLocation framework. Your location and your saved places are never transmitted off the device — not to us, not to any third party.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store — we never see your payment details. To validate your subscription and enable Restore Purchases, Unracked uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. RevenueCat receives your purchase receipt and a random anonymous identifier generated on your device — it is not linked to your identity, and we send no personal information with it. No analytics, no tracking, no ads
Unracked contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no trackers. We do not profile you, and we have nothing to sell or share — as described above, we hold no user data at all.
Children
Unracked is a self-control tool intended for users managing their own devices. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how Unracked handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change ships.
